Semi-automatic encapsulator CGN208-D is designed to fill hard gelatin capsules with powdered and granulated materials. In automatic mode, the following operations are performed: positioning, filling and assembling capsules. In manual mode, the operator only connects, disconnects and moves the two-piece working disk with capsules between the units.
The device has a convenient, intuitive control panel with a touch screen and an electronic capsule counting device. The materials of manufacture are SUS 304 stainless steel and aviation aluminum.
The main areas of application of the encapsulator are small and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies, research institutes, and medical institutions.
The design of the machine includes three main units:
unit for positioning and placing capsules in cells;
unit for filling with powdered or granulated contents;
unit for unloading capsules.
A simpler design compared to its predecessor simplifies operation and maintenance. Changing the tooling to switch to a different capsule size now takes only 5-8 minutes instead of 30 due to the new type of capsule orientation (the design of the tablet arrangement on the columns).
The vacuum mechanism for feeding the capsule to the position with the technology of filling the capsules in one table revolution has increased productivity to 2.5 – 3 thousand capsules per hour and reduced production defects to a minimum.
The new version of the machine is equipped with a convenient U-shaped rotary hopper.
The control system is combined (electric and pneumatic type). The motor with a frequency converter ensures high reliability and a long service life.
The standard delivery set includes dies for capsule size #0. At the customer’s request, additional equipment with dies for other capsule sizes is possible.
